SBI 2022 Purchase Order Notification: The State Bank of India (SBI) is going to issue a new notification of recruitment to the various positions in its various departments through the Probationary Officer Examination 2022. It is expected that The SBI PO 2022 notification will be published in April/May 2022. Applicants awaiting notification will be able to submit SBI PO 2022 online applications through the prescribed format in due time. Exam dates, online applications, online application link for SBI PO Recruitment 2022 will be launched in due course. Every year, the State Bank of India (SBI) conducts the SBI PO Exam 2022 to recruit vacancies through the Probationary Officer Examination. The selection procedure includes preliminaries (Phase 1), principals (Phase 2) and interviews (Phase 3). Candidates shortlisted after the preliminaries (phase 1) will have to appear for the principal (phase 2). Candidates shortlisted after phase 2 will then be called for phase 3 (interview). Selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India. Candidates are advised to prepare for the exam and start preparing for the exam. Notification details will be initiated in due course. SBI PO Notification 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification:

Candidates with a degree in any discipline are eligible to submit applications for SBI PO 2022. Candidates presenting in the last year/semester can also apply if they produce proof of their degree on day of the interview.

SBI PO Notification 2022 Age Limit

The age requirement for applicants belonging to the non-reserved category is 21 to 30 years old while there will be an age relaxation for applicants belonging to the reserved category as per government standards. Candidates can check the relaxation details in the given table.

SBI PO Notification 2022 Selection Criteria

The selection of trainee officers will be done through a three-tier process:

Phase-1: Preliminary review:

The preliminary examination consisting of an objective test for 100 points will take place online. The test will consist of 3 sections (with separate timings for each section) as follows:

Selection criteria for the main examination: The merit list by category will be established on the basis of the overall marks obtained during the preliminary examination. There will be no section break. Candidates representing 10 times (approximately) the number of vacancies in each category will be shortlisted for the main examination from the top of the merit list above.

Phase-2: sector review

The main exam will take place online and will consist of objective tests for 200 points and a descriptive test for 50 points. The descriptive test will be administered immediately after the conclusion of the objective test and candidates will be required to type their answers to the descriptive test on the computer.

Objective test: The duration of the objective test is 3 hours and it consists of 4 sections of 200 points in total. There will be separate timing for each section.

Descriptive essay: The duration of the descriptive test is 30 minutes. This will be an English language test (letter writing and essay) with two questions for a total of 50 points.

Selection criteria for the interview: The merit list by category will be established on the basis of the overall marks obtained during phase II (main examination). There will be no section break. Candidates with up to 3 times (approximately) vacancies per category will be shortlisted for Phase III from the top of the merit list per category subject to one candidate
achieving the minimum overall qualifying score, as decided by the Bank.

Penalty for wrong answer: Applicants should note that there will be negative marks to mark incorrect answers. For each question for which an incorrect answer has been given by the candidate, 1/4 of the points allocated to this
question will be deducted as a penalty to arrive at a corrected score. If a question is left blank, that is to say if no answer is noted by the candidate, there will be no penalty for this question.

Phase-3 (Maintenance): Given the social distancing and security measures necessitated by the COVID-19 pandemic, the 3rd phase may include (i) an interview only (50 points) OR (ii) an interview (30 points) and practice exercises. group (20 points). Applicants will need to achieve minimum qualifying scores in Phase III to be considered for final selection. The minimum qualifying scores will be decided by the Bank.

Final selection:

Applicants will need to qualify separately for Phase II and Phase III. The marks obtained in the main examination (Phase-II), both in the objective test and the descriptive test, will be added to the marks obtained in the phase-III for the preparation of the final merit list. Scores obtained in the preliminary examination (Phase I) will not be added for the preparation of the final merit list for selection.

SBI PO 2022 Salary

According to the previous SBI PO Recruitment 2022 notification, the starting base salary is 41,960/- (with 4 advance increments) on a scale of 36000-1490/7-46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7 -63840 applicable to Junior Management Scale-I. The official will also be eligible for DA, HRA/lease, CCA, medical and other allowances and perquisites in accordance with the rules in force from time to time.
